- Look underneath for rust, dents and oil leaks from the axles
- Uneven tyre wear, which can point to suspension or alignment problems

Is the Prado petrol or diesel better for Nairobi?
If you mostly drive short trips in town, the 2.7 petrol is simpler to maintain. If you do regular long trips upcountry, the diesel is more economical and has more pulling power.
